Coding Curriculum for Middle School
Coding for middle school kids starts with diving right into Python. These classes focus on teaching kids the coding fundamentals and how to write real coding languages like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Python. They’ll get comfortable with both front and back end programming including user interfaces, databases, APIs, and cross-platform development. By the end of the middle school coding program, students will be able to build their own online multiplayer game.
Wizard Level I
These are fun and challenging classes where students learn foundational programming skills and write their first applications on the front and back end.
Wizard Level II
Students learn the most popular systems for adding data and improving user experience to their applications.
Class Schedule
All students start in Intro to Programming with Python at Wizard Level I. If you have previous coding experience, take the Placement test. Returning students can continue with the class where they left off.
