Round Rock ISD and CodeWizardsHQ are partnering to bring the first ever Hackathon to our students. It’s a fun one-day event for RRISD middle and high school students to come together and work on coding projects that solve real world problems of our community.

What is it?
 Collaborative Coding Experience
 Exposure to real-world coding
 Learn from local industry mentors
 Open to all levels of coding experience
 First come, first serve. 100 Seats available
 Code as a team to solve real world problems

8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Fees:
$15 per student.
Includes lunch, event t-shirt and certificate.
(scholarship available for qualifying students)

FAQs

Who is this for?
For middle and high school students of all Round Rock ISD schools. Due to space limitations, we aren’t able to accommodate non-district students.

Should parents stay during the event?
This is a dropoff and pickup event. Parents are neither required nor allowed to stay at the premises during the Hackathon event.

What should the student bring?
Students are encouraged to bring ideas that they would like to work on during the Hackathon. Computer, food and other supplies will be provided.

We have a tremendous response from RRISD parents and students that we are completely sold out. We have reached our maximum capacity of 125 participants.
